Integrated Nuclear Alliance

Four independent companies whose capabilities meet across major energy infrastructure: environmental consenting, nuclear consulting, nuclear security and defence systems engineering.

Programmes that cross boundaries need a team that does too.

A consent condition moves construction sequencing. A security or safeguards requirement changes a layout or a cost. A delivery assumption carries regulatory and environmental consequences. Work of that kind sits between companies, and the Integrated Nuclear Alliance exists to take it on as one team.

At the start of an opportunity the partners agree which company is best placed to lead, on the work, the relationship and the point in the lifecycle. The client deals with that one accountable lead, and each member fields named specialists into a single team. The companies keep their independence and their depth; the client gets one joined-up response.

Alliance partner case studyFifteen nationally significant consenting programmesDevelopers of large-scale solar, storage, hydrogen and SMR schemes needed delivery partners to secure development consent orders. Alliance partner Collaborative Environmental Advisers led site selection, characterisation and scheme design, embedding qualified project managers as each developer’s delivery partner: fifteen projects, twelve of them nationally significant, including one of the first large-scale solar consents, commended by the planning inspectorate.
