Partners and Directors

Partners own a market or a discipline and carry the client relationships within that market. Service directors hold the standards, methods and people of a practice. Both are senior appointments for people with standing in the industry.

Your clients, your judgement, NCL’s company behind you.

A partner takes accountability for every assignment they sponsor: scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria agreed with the client; governance proportionate to the risk; technical, regulatory, safety and programme inputs integrated into a position a board can act on; and a single senior point of contact for the life of the work. Where a partner brings a client, the relationship stays with the partner unless transferred by agreement.

In return NCL provides the ten consulting practices, the advisers, the ISO 9001 quality system, the operations behind the work and a share of the revenue the partner generates. Appointments are fractional and non-exclusive, so partners remain active at the top of the industry rather than stepping out of it to run a consultancy.

Service directors set how the work in a practice is done, review what leaves NCL and hold the depth of the practice. They are drawn from the partner and associate group and are accountable for quality rather than for the client relationship.
